My purpose is to inspire millennial professionals to be happy, successful & impactful corporate leaders.

In 2008 when this Jersey gal graduated college it was one of the most challenging job seeker environments anyone could have imagined…until 2022. Like many of my millennial peers then and now, we were enduring tons of interviews settling into whatever role we could land just to pay rent in our tiny NYC apartments.

I had dreams of being a rock ‘n roll journalist at the tender age of 21 (love Almost Famous) and quickly realized publishing life wasn’t happening. I pivoted to retail store management which felt like “settling”.

It was a blessing in disguise because it ignited my passion for the People and Recruitment space. Often, we decide to settle because the job search process is long and painful.

It also feels impossible to land a job we love where we ALSO see a future.

But these life experiences are crucial for growth and get us closer to the job we love. Thankfully, I’ll never have to dress another mannequin in jeans again! Retail people know just how hard that is…!

From Store Manager to Chief People Officer

When I transitioned from retail to FinTech, I had to start over. I spent many years working long hours and living the NYC grind. I worked my way up to become Chief People Officer about a decade later.

How? I put in the time to learn a new industry and determined how my existing skills could transfer. I formed strong relationships and built my credibility with senior stakeholders. I regularly pursued professional development opportunities like my PHR (Professional in Human Resources Certification) so I was staying competitive with my skill set.

I was always willing to learn, take on new challenges, and shared my ideas when the opportunities arose. P.S. if you ever have the opportunity to join a startup - DO IT. You will learn A TON and take on new responsibilities FAST.

In 2018, I was searching for ways to have a bigger impact as an People Ops professional. This is when I discovered iPEC and their globally recognized ICF-accredited coaching program. Exploring this path has been the most fulfilling career advancement step I’ve taken thus far. Coaching is my WHY

I’ve been a job seeker who learned the ropes to getting promoted. I’ve been behind the scenes in People Ops and witnessed the mistakes job seekers make.

Coaching is the missing link in my realizing job seekers don’t just need strategy but also mindset, expertise, and a partner to push them to achieve their goals. Not only do I want to propel the job search process forward for millennials, but I also want to help millennials find long-term success as leaders after the career change is complete.

What i’ve experienced as a job seeker back in 2008 along with observing interview candidates for the last 15 years has shaped me into the Career Coach I am today.

I am a resilient & ambitious millennial career coach who loves to help clients remove their career advancement obstacles, make impactful career changes and achieve amazing success.

Today’s job market is currently being called a combination of the “Great Recession” and “Great Reshuffle”. It’s a total shi*tshow (excuse my language) and difficult for job seekers to navigate. I was inspired to start my career coaching business to bring my learnings to others struggling to make a career change because of the dozens of reasons they tell themselves why they can’t.

I wanted to give millennials the roadmap I wish I had to navigate my career changes. I wanted to make the job search process easier & more effective. I wanted to coach people on how to be amazing leaders throughout any stage of their career. I wanted to keep creating meaningful partnerships with clients that would not just help them land the job they love but also have fun along the way.

Sure, you can pay a fortune for someone to put together an okay resume…

But I’ve lead the hiring of hundreds of individuals across the U.S. & Europe. I’ve reviewed THOUSANDS of resumes, conducted many interviews and developed interview evaluations and hiring best practices for teams.

I’ve spent countless hours conducting on-campus recruitment events, searching far and wide on LinkedIn for excellent candidates, and developed partnerships with recruitment organizations to build search pipelines.

I have the relevant expertise working specifically with corporate millennials… and I’m a millennial too!

Since becoming a Certified Professional Coach in 2019…

I’ve developed a specialty niche in corporate leadership skill development & new manager coaching. My clients range from entry-level analysts to software engineers to new managers and C-suite executives. By word of mouth, my coaching engagements organically expanded within my corporate role and beyond.

My clients rely on me for honest advice to navigate their career change obstacles, how to manage their job search effectively, and how to be successful in their new role. I’ve been a trusted advisor to my personal and professional network and now I want to help YOU reach your career goals.
